Thank you for trying Instant BeautyCall before it is finished. This agreement covers what you are signing up for. It is short on purpose.
Access to a pre-release version of the Instant BeautyCall apps, distributed through Apple TestFlight. "Pre-release" means exactly what it sounds like: the software is incomplete, it has bugs we know about and bugs we do not, and parts of it will change or disappear without notice.
No guarantee that the service works, that it is available, or that it will launch at all. No guarantee that a professional is available in your area, or that a booking you make will be honoured. Nothing here is a promise of service, and you should not rely on the beta for anything that matters to you.
If you book and pay for a real service through the beta, that transaction is real and the ordinary Terms of Service apply to it.
We collect what the apps collect, described in our Privacy Policy. In addition, during the beta we may look at how you use the app, and at crash and diagnostic reports, in more detail than we would after launch, because that is how the remaining problems get found.
Data created during the beta may be deleted. We may reset test data between builds. Do not put anything in the beta that you would be upset to lose.
Please do not publicly share screenshots, recordings, or descriptions of unreleased features, pricing, or screens. Telling a friend the app exists is fine and welcome. Posting a walkthrough of an unfinished screen is not.
This obligation ends when the feature in question is publicly released, or when we tell you it has.
If you send us feedback -- a bug report, a suggestion, a complaint, a sketch of how a screen should work -- we may use it, in the product and anywhere else, without restriction and without owing you anything for it. You keep the right to use your own ideas. We are asking for the freedom to act on what you tell us, not for ownership of your thoughts.
Do not send us anything you are not free to give, including anything belonging to an employer or covered by somebody else's confidentiality agreement.
You must be 18 or older and in the United States. The beta is limited in size, and we may end your access at any time, for any reason, without explanation -- including simply because the beta has ended.
If you take part as a licensed professional or a salon, nothing in this agreement replaces the Independent Contractor Agreement or the Salon Owner Terms. You will be asked to accept those separately, in the app, before you can take work or run a salon. Taking part in the beta does not make you an employee, a partner, or an agent of the company, and it does not entitle you to payment for testing.
The beta is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your participation in the beta.
Some states do not allow some of these exclusions. Where that is the case, they do not apply to you, and nothing here takes away a right you have that cannot be waived.
This agreement ends when the beta ends, when we remove your access, or when you leave -- whichever comes first. Sections 4 (Confidentiality), 5 (Feedback) and 8 (No warranty) survive it.
