Effective November 1, 2026. Applies to the BeautyCall Client and BeautyCall Pro apps.
BeautyCall operates a marketplace that connects licensed beauty professionals ("Pros") with clients who want services performed at a location of their choosing: home, hotel, office, assisted-living facility, or event. This policy describes what personal information we collect through the BeautyCall Client and BeautyCall Pro iOS apps, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Throughout this policy, "BeautyCall," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the BeautyCall apps, reachable at the contact details in Section 11. Some future versions of this policy may name a specific registered legal entity once one is formed; until then, BeautyCall is the operating name under which the service is run.
We collect only what's needed to run the marketplace, verify who you are, and complete a booking.
Card numbers and other payment details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe, never by BeautyCall. See Section 5 for how Stripe fits in.
When either app crashes, stops responding, or hits an unexpected error, it sends a technical report to BeautyCall's own servers so we can find and fix the problem. On iPhone this comes from Apple's built-in diagnostics (MetricKit); on Android, from the app itself. A report contains:
A report does not contain your name, phone number, email, photos, location, payment details, or anything you typed, and it is not linked to your account. Before a report is stored we also remove anything in it that looks like an email address, a phone number, or a password or sign-in token. Reports are not shared with anyone else and are not used for advertising or to profile you.
We do not ask for or store a government ID, Social Security number, or date of birth. Age is confirmed by an in-app acknowledgment rather than a document (see Section 9).
We use the information above to:
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not run analytics software that profiles your behavior. Our crash diagnostics go only to our own servers, with no third-party crash-reporting service involved.
With your permission, the app may access your device's location one time, or only while the app is open, to determine regional pricing for services in your area. We do not track your location continuously or in the background, and location data is not used to build a movement history.
You can decline location access; the app will fall back to pricing based on the address or region you provide instead.
We share personal information with a small number of service providers, only as needed to run BeautyCall. Never with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not sell personal information.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to comply with a valid legal process, or to protect the safety of a client, Pro, or the public.
No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we design our systems to keep your information protected as described above.
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active, so the app can function and so Pros and clients can be matched. After you close your account, we retain a limited set of records, such as those needed for payment, tax, or legal recordkeeping, for as long as applicable law requires, and delete or anonymize the rest.
Crash diagnostics (Section 2) are deleted 90 days after we receive them, whether or not you still have an account.
You can review and update most of your profile information (name, photo, address, bio, portfolio) directly in the app at any time.
BeautyCall doesn't yet have a self-serve "delete my account" button in the app. To request deletion of your account and personal information, email us at accounts@beautycall.services from the address or phone number on your account. We'll confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, except for records we're required to keep for legal or financial reasons.
SMS verification codes are required to sign in and can't be turned off, since they're how we confirm it's really you. Message and data rates may apply.
BeautyCall is intended for users 18 and older. At sign-up, you confirm you meet this requirement by acknowledging it in the app; we don't currently collect a date of birth or verify age through a document. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at the address in Section 11 and we'll investigate and remove it.
We may update this policy as BeautyCall's features change. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app before it takes effect. We encourage you to revisit this page from time to time.
Questions about this policy, or a data request?
This policy is written to describe BeautyCall's actual practices as of its effective date above. If anything here stops matching how the app works, contact us. We'd rather fix the app or the policy than leave a mismatch standing.
